Make Contact is an interactive audiovisual event that explores connection as a form of signal exchange—between people, systems, and space. Through real-time visuals, live video feeds, and sound, the environment responds directly to participant movement, turning presence into input and interaction into output.
The project brings together local visual artists, sound operators, and independent vendors within a shared framework. Audiences engage with hand-tracked visuals and reactive projections, while a curated market—Goods & Oddities, featuring the Maker Syndicate—extends the concept into physical objects and exchange.
Blurring the boundary between observer and system, Make Contact transforms the act of gathering into a dynamic network of interaction, where sound, image, and object operate as channels of communication.
